What it is: “Fractional” is literal—I make my expertise accessible and affordable by sharing my time across several organizations. (“You want a piece of me?” I say in my best Frank Costanza voice: “You got iiiiiiiit!”) And you don’t have to fund a permanent, full-time salary.

What you get (for about the cost of a junior hire):

  • Senior expertise: I bring over 20 years of communications leadership to your organization. I’m a subject matter expert that serves as a peer and thought partner to your executive director.

  • Efficiency: Because of my experience, I don’t have the learning curve of a junior team member. I know how to identify the critical priorities to focus on so I can maximize my impact with minimal investment. 

  • Planning Plus Execution: I provide recommendations and guide execution. Think of me as a bridge between strategy and implementation to help you level up your organization.

  • Long-term Partnership: While short-term engagements are sometimes appropriate, I typically engage in longer-term contracts (12+ mos), allowing me to integrate with your team. This allows me to own your mission with you—which is what I personally love most about this arrangement.

What it’s not:

  • NOT a part-time employee. Instead, I operate as an independent contractor.

  • NOT “just” a consultant. I act as part of your team and represent your org just as other team members do.

  • NOT project based. Rather than solving just one specific problem, I engage with you long-term to deliver consistent, reliable support from a position of strategic understanding.
